If Amancio Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Chaime in the 14th minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Teofilo Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Sanvicente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Milio in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Blas Lidon got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Venancio James mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletic Club Araucaria and the Las Momias F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roberto Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Walter Sanvicente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Las Momias F. C.'s Aldo Chaime slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Presebal. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. After 32 minutes, Ezequiel Ixidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletic Club Araucaria and the Las Momias F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ezequiel Ixidor hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s Aldo Chaime sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Presebal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Lidon during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blas Lidon hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Milio to make the kick off. Teofilo Presebal came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Momias F. C.'s Jesus Tabby. But to his dismay, Jesus Tabby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Teofilo Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Atletic Club Araucaria's Amancio Birila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Atletic Club Araucaria's Teofilo Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Chaime in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Chaime in the 70th minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Teofilo Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Las Momias F. C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Blas Lidon hit a great ball. Teofilo Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Alvaro Milio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Sanvicente. Alvaro Milio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After 90 minutes of play Las Momias F. C.'s Blas Lidon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Blas Lidon got a free kick in the 90th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
