Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvaro Milio started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Teofilo Presebal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergio Fernendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Nicolas Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islas FC and the Atletic Club Araucaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Atletic Club Araucaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Seme came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletic Club Araucaria's Alvaro Milio. But to his dismay, Alvaro Milio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Roberto Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Seme having to interfere. Severino Joanes hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ernesto Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes, Mauricio Inge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islas FC and the Atletic Club Araucaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atletic Club Araucaria booed when Islas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Xacintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danilo Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Teofilo Presebal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ermegildo Joey. After having played for 47 minutes, Severino Casomiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Islas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Casomiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Atletic Club Araucaria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

60 minutes into the match, Alvaro Milio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Islas FC's Ernesto Seme. Ernesto Seme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Fernendo in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Mariano Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes, Islas FC's Ermegildo Joey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teofilo Presebal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Islas FC reached it. Islas FC's Ernesto Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Milio in the 71st minute of play. Alvaro Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Inge to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atletic Club Araucaria getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Roberto Goi hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Sergio Fernendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Islas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 83rd match minute, Atletic Club Araucaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Crispo to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Ermegildo Joey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 minutes, Roberto Goi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletic Club Araucaria and the Islas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atletic Club Araucaria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
