After some careless play in the Palermo AFC defense, Leon Hotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Alonso. The Palermo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Alonso should have stopped the shot. Tobias Sasoin's late challenge caught a Dragons AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Sasoin helped the player get up and apologised. Tobias Sasoin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jairo Alonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Hotz went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dragons AFC's Reynaldo Jordy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Dragons AFC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Rodriguez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Reynaldo Jordy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leon Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Lucero. When Santos Nalo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons AFC's protests and gave Santos Nalo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Dragons AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Teodosio Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Jordy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Mauro Quilo had to leave the field with a concussion. After 35 minutes, Octavio Frascuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo AFC and the Dragons AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Octavio Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Stanislao in the 39th minute of the match. Leon Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Alonso having to interfere. Dragons AFC's Leon Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Evangelista was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dragons AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Rodriguez came free, but Reynaldo Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Lucero kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Teodosio Stanislao shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Jordy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Octavio Frascuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Jordy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Bernardino Chuse hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Bernardino Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Stanislao in the 69th minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dragons AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
