The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, David Lucero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragons AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc the free kick. In the 3rd minute, David Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Santiago might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Jordy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Santiago ran back to his position shaking his head. Amador Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Jordy having to interfere. Marco Romildo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Simon Ritchie firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 13th minute, Candido Peio made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Jordy. Dragons AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's goalkeeper Simon Ritchie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Romildo. Reynaldo Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Enekoitz in the 33rd minute of play. Reynaldo Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Enekoitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Jordy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cipriano Santiago. A collision led to lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cipriano Santiago hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Reynaldo Jordy threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haroldo Gregory, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Reynaldo Jordy made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Damaso Enekoitz sent off a good shot on target. When Ildefonso Cordarrel fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's protests and gave Ildefonso Cordarrel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, Dragons AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Romildo to maneuver through the defense.
