Evelio Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rodolfo Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Arturo Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Anibal Rainerio hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play, Club Atlético Escocia's Arturo Madaleno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Lia was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Elazar in the 25th minute of play forced Cachilo FC --OFF--'s goalkeeper Rodolfo Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Marcos Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Lia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rodolfo Lia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Beturian went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when Cachilo FC --OFF-- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Beturian in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Marcos Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Lia having to make a save. Rodolfo Lia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Beturian went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Hegoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Beturian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Lia made a huge save. Rodolfo Lia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltasar Elazar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Hegoi during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Gabriel Hegoi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Club Atlético Escocia's Basilio Elixio was substituted for Evelio Gines. In the 61st match minute, Cachilo FC --OFF-- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Marcos Beturian came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Lia could save by the left post. In the 72nd minute Arturo Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Rodolfo Lia got control of the ball when Marcos Beturian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Lapurdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Lia made a huge save. The goalkeeper, Rodolfo Lia, was totally fooled by Club Atlético Escocia's Narciso Sauveur, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 83rd minute of the match, Arturo Madaleno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodolfo Lia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcos Beturian took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Lia. Rodolfo Lia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 93 minutes into the match, Marcos Beturian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Lia. Cachilo FC --OFF--'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Beturian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Escocia's Marcos Beturian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Lia. That made the score 0-9 after 97 minutes of play. Club Atlético Escocia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
