In the 5th minute, Justo Solustiano made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Duardo. Matadores de Luro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. German Uhin took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Duardo. Delmiro Duardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 15th minute when Gualterio Salvator elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Delmiro Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Solustiano in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Justo Solustiano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Matadores de Luro's Delmiro Duardo. Delmiro Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delmiro Duardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Salvator's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, German Uhin made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Duardo. Matadores de Luro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some careless play in the Matadores de Luro defense, Gualterio Salvator kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Duardo. The Matadores de Luro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Duardo should have stopped the shot. If Justo Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Cruz in the 41st minute of the match. Delmiro Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Matadores de Luro's Conrado Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 44th minute. Delmiro Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Salvator in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Independiente were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Salvator to make the kick off. Justo Solustiano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Javier Aresti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matadores de Luro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. The supporters of Independiente booed when Matadores de Luro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Independiente's Siro Luken in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 58th play minute Gualterio Salvator came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Delmiro Duardo. 0-8. In the 61st match minute, Matadores de Luro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Macerio to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Duardo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from German Uhin. In the 63rd minute of the match Independiente got a corner. Matadores de Luro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. German Uhin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 69th minute, Justo Solustiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. 73 minutes into the match, German Uhin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delmiro Duardo, 0-11. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Jaunzuria during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 79 minutes into the game, Gualterio Salvator cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Delmiro Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gualterio Salvator came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delmiro Duardo could save by the left post. When Independiente's Gualterio Salvator, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Delmiro Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Salvator in the 86th minute. In the 95th minute, Matadores de Luro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gualterio Salvator fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Independiente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
