If Gualterio Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gualterio Salvator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Anibal Nalo made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Club Atlethico Talleres's Miguel Tano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Bidari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ernesto Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Independiente's German Uhin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4.
