In the 24th minute Aquilino Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Club Deportivo Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Calixto to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Abel having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Jorge Obeko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alonzo Bingen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Jorrin got free with Jorge Obeko in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jorge Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Rey in the 51st minute of the match. Silvano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Cibran in the 55th minute of play. Eustaquio Jorrin scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Obeko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquilino Rey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When Aquilino Rey came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Rey couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Eustaquio Jorrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Cibran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Abel having to make a save. Jonas Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Obeko having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Rey in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Obeko saved Club Deportivo Norte from getting behind. Ernesto Cibran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Silvano Abel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonas Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Deportivo Norte booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes, Club Deportivo Norte's Angelino Urko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvano Abel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Norte reached it. Silvano Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Cibran in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Norte's Virgilio Sotero got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Aquilino Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Norte's Jorge Obeko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute Aquilino Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Jorrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jorge Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
