In the 6th match minute, Boquenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Theodore to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Cordareo in the 9th minute of play forced Boquenses's goalkeeper Fausto Venceslas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Rameriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Boquenses getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anselmo Erroman hit a great ball. Rodrigo Cugat took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Venceslas. Fausto Venceslas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Anselmo Erroman made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Gizon. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fausto Venceslas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Marcos Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Crescencio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 64 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Amado Crescencio. In the 67th minute Marcos Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Erroman. Fausto Venceslas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodrigo Cugat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Marcos Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Venceslas having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Fabio Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Alfonso Urbasa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Venceslas skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st match minute, Boquenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Pero to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Santiago got free with Fausto Venceslas in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, one of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ. The attack was good, but when Samuel Cordareo in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Boquenses's Fausto Venceslas got control of the ball when Samuel Cordareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
