Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquilino Rey started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Virgilio Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Bastiaro. A hard shot by Carlos Arnas from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Silvano Abel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Silvano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Jerardo in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Aquilino Rey got a free kick in the 10th minute. Juan Orzaize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 12 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Dante Ramos. When Carabata Groove's Victorino Jerardo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Rosendo Taurino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carabata Groove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Eustaquio Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Eustaquio Jorrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Jerardo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Abel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Eustaquio Jorrin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Orzaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rosendo Taurino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvano Abel came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosendo Taurino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 39th minute. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Silvano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Jerardo in the 43rd minute of play. If Rosendo Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Carabata Groove's Victorino Jerardo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie prevented a goal. Rosendo Taurino hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Silvano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Jerardo in the 54th minute of play. Esteban Arias's late challenge caught a DeportivoIndependienteMDP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Arias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Carabata Groove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Arias to maneuver through the defense. If Jonas Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victorino Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Abel having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Silvano Abel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Adolfo Bastiaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carabata Groove's Carlos Arnas got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Jorrin got free with Juan Orzaize in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Victorino Jerardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Abel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Eustaquio Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the DeportivoIndependienteMDP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carabata Groove.
