Andres Gaizkine scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Mederi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Americo Guib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Lanus's Victorio Tanio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Mederi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 20th minute, Andres Gaizkine made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Mederi. Black StarZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Black StarZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Giraldo came free, but Rolando Mederi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes Black StarZ got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Endura. After 30 played minutes, Club Atletico Lanus's Clemente Bingen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Mederi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Lanus reached it. In the 39th minute, Victorio Tanio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Mederi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Andres Gaizkine hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 51st minute Clemente Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Tanio in the 52nd minute of play. Black StarZ's Rolando Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Tanio in the 54th minute of play. Rolando Mederi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Bingen went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Black StarZ's Rolando Mederi got control of the ball when Eustacio Giraldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Lanus's Victorio Tanio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Mederi. That made the score 0-7 after 67 minutes of play. After 79 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Giraldo. In the 81st minute, Andres Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when Black StarZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Endura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Mederi was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Victorio Tanio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorio Tanio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Club Atletico Lanus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
