Astor Teofilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Artal in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Club Atletico Lanus's Teo Larra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teo Larra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Lanus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teo Larra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Lanus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Albiceleste F.C.:s goal. The referee gave Albiceleste F.C. a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laureano Silviano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio. 1-0. With a little luck, Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio got control of the ball when Jorge Jon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Teofilio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Albiceleste F.C.'s Jorge Jon. But to his dismay, Jorge Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Andres Gaizkine's late challenge caught a Albiceleste F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Gaizkine helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Andres Gaizkine got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st match minute, Club Atletico Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Bingen to maneuver through the defense. When Club Atletico Lanus's Victorio Tanio in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albiceleste F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Jon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Astor Teofilio firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 39th minute, Marco Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marco Artal hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Genaro Beltxe scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Teofilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico Lanus fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Albiceleste F.C.. Laureano Silviano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Astor Teofilio. 4-0. Laureano Silviano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Clemente Bingen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albiceleste F.C.'s Osvaldo Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Tanio in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Victorio Tanio hit a great ball. Jorge Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Teofilio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Tanio in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Terciero saved Albiceleste F.C. from getting behind. Osvaldo Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Rolando Tabb hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Albiceleste F.C. had won after a very even match.
