Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Quinton in the 17th minute of play. Rodolfo Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Gogo Leobardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SABALEPLUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Lanus the free kick. In the 44thth minute of the game Andres Gaizkine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SABALEPLUS's Gavino Ondino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Quinton made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Castillo came free, but Astor Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Cristian Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, SABALEPLUS's Fulgencio Pacifico made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Teofilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rodolfo Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SABALEPLUS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
