Stanislaw Skorny in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boruc Praski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Grzegorz Rasiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Raschke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boruc Praski, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Wincent Kempka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Rasiak came free, but Boruc Praski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigiusz Karp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcin Bulka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Dominik Konopka put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Szybcy i Wściekli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KKS Lech Poznań:s goal. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for KKS Lech Poznań. Juliusz Matuch stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcin Bulka. 1-1. After a rather tough play, KKS Lech Poznań's Janusz Zukowski got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Ziemowit Raschke fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Boruc Praski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Skorny in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute, Juliusz Matuch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KKS Lech Poznań's Juliusz Matuch got a free kick in the 41st minute. Boruc Praski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eugeniusz Bentkowski. In the 45th minute, Wasyl Cebula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Eugeniusz Bentkowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boruc Praski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Szybcy i Wściekli booed when KKS Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Karp didn't get a good kick on the ball. KKS Lech Poznań made a substitution. Gustaw Furlit replaced Janusz Zukowski. KKS Lech Poznań's Radomil Kolba was substituted for Miromir Kaczanka. In the 48th match minute, KKS Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Karp to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 73 played minutes Szybcy i Wściekli got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Bentkowski. After 76 minutes, Stanislaw Skorny made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. KKS Lech Poznań's Boruc Praski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Skorny in the 83rd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Boruc Praski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the KKS Lech Poznań defense, Ziemowit Raschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boruc Praski. The KKS Lech Poznań fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boruc Praski should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Stanislaw Skorny put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Boruc Praski. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Szybcy i Wściekli had won after a very even match.
