The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Lipinski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ryszard Patrylo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Purple Shadows fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Patrylo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, LOTOS WARSZAWA's Ulryk Grabowicz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a long run with the ball, Tomasz Szotek did a trick in the 91st minute in front of Purple Shadows's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-3.
