In the 11thth minute of the game Jerzy Kiepski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purple Shadows's Zbyszko Duda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zbyszko Duda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerzy Kiepski's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Jerzy Kiepski scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszko Duda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 minutes of play, FC Sójcze's Jerzy Kiepski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszko Duda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ryszard Kostka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zbyszko Duda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tytus Bialakowski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ksawery Frodyma was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pawel Pieprz. Radomir Jestrimski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Sójcze were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zula Scislowicz to make the kick off. Emil Chuchro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zbyszko Duda. Purple Shadows's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Damazy Jaszyna came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Sójcze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Jaszyna couldn't finish the play. Zbyszko Duda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Jestrimski in the 95th minute of play. The Purple Shadows fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Sójcze were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
