Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wlodzimierz Siwy got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Pawlik came free, but Kajetan Kossakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Smolarek in the 4th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kajetan Kossakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Newcastle United's Dawid Zacharek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Red Army's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Wlodzimierz Siwy scored to the left of an out of position Izydor Ludwa, making the score, 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Okopny notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Newcastle United's Kajetan Kossakowski. Kajetan Kossakowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Iwan Pawlik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Fabian Zielinski kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Radomil Smolarek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Zagrobelny in the 25th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Izydor Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Kossakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Smolarek in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Radomil Smolarek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomil Smolarek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Przemyslaw Okopny took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kajetan Kossakowski. Kajetan Kossakowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Polakowski got free with Izydor Ludwa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugeniusz Kochanowski made a kick off. Wlodzimierz Siwy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izydor Ludwa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Gustaw Nuszkowski hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Kajetan Kossakowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radomil Smolarek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 61 minute of play. Kajetan Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Pawlik in the 64th minute of play. Newcastle United's Kajetan Kossakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Okopny in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes, Red Army's Piotr Pleban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kajetan Kossakowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Army reached it. Eugeniusz Kochanowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kajetan Kossakowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugeniusz Kochanowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-8 in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawid Zacharek during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Dawid Zacharek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajetan Kossakowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Piotr Pleban. With an all-out effort, Red Army's Kajetan Kossakowski threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radomil Smolarek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Mateusz Polakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Nuszkowski to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Hieronim Fronczak from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Kajetan Kossakowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Iwan Pawlik kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Izydor Ludwa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Zagrobelny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Red Army left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Newcastle United.
