In the 17th minute, Dariusz Beninda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galja Kraków's Radoslaw Oryniak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emil Cetnar but with some difficulty. Walery Kochanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Ptaszek in the 19th minute of the match. If Zachariasz Domaracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute of the match, Witold Zielinski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emil Cetnar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shaolin soccer's Emil Cetnar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Zielinski in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Zielinski got free with Emil Cetnar in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Shaolin soccer's Emil Cetnar got control of the ball when Witold Zielinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Galja Kraków's Witold Zielinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Cetnar. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. 45 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Oryniak came free, but Emil Cetnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walery Kochanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Ptaszek in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Emil Cetnar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Indyk in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Zielinski in the 56th minute of play forced Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Emil Cetnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Shaolin soccer got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Budzyn. In the 68th minute Juliusz Ptaszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Kochanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galja Kraków's Walery Kochanowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Galja Kraków from getting a goal against them. Juliusz Ptaszek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Walery Kochanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walery Kochanowski made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Juliusz Ptaszek sent off a good shot on target. Walery Kochanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Ranowiecki in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when Galja Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Domaradzki didn't get a good kick on the ball.
