FC Trefl Gdynia's Wladyslaw Szarmach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Oryniak in the 9th minute of play. Igor Koprowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zygmunt Dabrowski went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC Trefl Gdynia defense, Damazy Bartocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wladyslaw Szarmach. The FC Trefl Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wladyslaw Szarmach should have stopped the shot. Damazy Bartocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Wladyslaw Szarmach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Slawomir Brak fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACR SA's protests and gave Slawomir Brak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, ACR SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Brak to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes ACR SA got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Rozanski. In the 38th minute, Slawomir Brak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Kociniewski during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norbert Kociniewski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Wladyslaw Szarmach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Rozanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ACR SA's Igor Koprowski got control of the ball when Zygmunt Dabrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Damazy Bartocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zygmunt Dabrowski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes FC Trefl Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Poreda. Juliusz Rozanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Szarmach having to interfere. After 60 played minutes FC Trefl Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kociniewski. Juliusz Rozanski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Wladyslaw Szarmach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damazy Bartocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damazy Bartocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Juliusz Rozanski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wladyslaw Szarmach was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Igor Koprowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Zbydniewski in the 85th minute of play. Remigiusz Oryniak hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Trefl Gdynia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ulryk Kasprzykowski hit a great ball. Damazy Bartocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Szarmach having to interfere. Despite being the better team, ACR SA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
