Artur Hryc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szymon Burdzel during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wawrzyniec Mirowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Burdzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes Gwarek Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Cwenar. Wiktor Ledochowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 55th playminute. 59 minutes into the game, Beniamin Puszynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Witomir Czeszyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Szymon Burdzel got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 62 played minutes Gwarek Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Burdzel. Gustaw Tobaczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes, Miroslaw Mochowak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gwarek Zabrze and the KP Brzeg Dolny players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as KP Brzeg Dolny's Wiktor Ledochowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Witomir Czeszyk. That made the score 1-4 after 86 minutes of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Gwarek Zabrze's goalkeeper Witomir Czeszyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Ledochowski. When Ryszard Mindykowski came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the KP Brzeg Dolny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Mindykowski couldn't finish the play.
