FC Catalonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zawisza Bydgoszcz the free kick. FC Catalonia's Michal Brudnicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Catalonia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Catalonia's Stanislaw Majewski got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mateusz Trzenzalski, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cyprian Nowakowski hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Malewicki to maneuver through the defense. Stanislaw Majewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstanty Dziewulski having to make a save. Michal Brudnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Solecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Mateusz Trzenzalski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michal Brudnicki. Michal Brudnicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when FC Catalonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Czeszyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Brudnicki acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mateusz Trzenzalski. Czeslaw Solecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Brudnicki having to interfere. Michal Brudnicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 91 minutes into the game, Bogdan Kolba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Michal Brudnicki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Catalonia defense, Czeslaw Solecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michal Brudnicki. The FC Catalonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michal Brudnicki should have stopped the shot.
