The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Wrocanka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute, FC Wrocanka's Zdzislaw Gondek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Radowit Dziechciowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Zenon Waldoch made a huge save. After 38 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Biskupiak. After 38 played minutes, FC Wrocanka's Ulryk Hatman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zenon Waldoch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Astral Roots Gdynia's zone, Ulryk Hatman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Waldoch was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Zdzislaw Gondek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 51st match minute, Astral Roots Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Jekot to maneuver through the defense. Ulryk Hatman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zenon Waldoch. Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Astral Roots Gdynia defense, Zdzislaw Gondek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenon Waldoch. The Astral Roots Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenon Waldoch should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zdzislaw Gondek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wrocanka's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdzislaw Gondek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Waldoch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franciszek Poling got free with Stefan Bochinski in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Bartlomiej Kalemba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Waldoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Gondek, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of FC Wrocanka booed when Astral Roots Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Wielopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astral Roots Gdynia's Czeslaw Wielopolski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfred Fleszar in the 76 minute of the game. Zenon Waldoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Gerlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Gerlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Waldoch having to interfere. If Norbert Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
