An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Bondel in the 8th minute of play forced ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's goalkeeper Marian Traczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Faker FC's Bogumil Smolarek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Traczewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stasio Piekarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Faker FC's Roland Poling seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roland Poling the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Faker FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roland Poling had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 14 played minutes Faker FC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Poling. 22 minutes into the match, Bogumil Smolarek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Traczewski. ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogumil Smolarek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Faker FC's Bogumil Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faker FC's Wieslaw Rozanski got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogumil Smolarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marian Traczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Beniamin Pachucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Marian Traczewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Faker FC booed when ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Gregorczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zygmunt Bondel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Faker FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
