After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Bialystok's zone, Bartosz Wierzchowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Cichewski came out of the goal and Bartosz Wierzchowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Dzerwucki came free, but Tolek Cichewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Bartosz Wierzchowski rounded Jagiellonia Bialystok's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. FC Viper's Mariusz Zajonc got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tolek Cichewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zajonc in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Slawomir Czech made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Zajonc in the 53rd minute of play forced Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Tolek Cichewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Tusk came free, but Tolek Cichewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Jagiellonia Bialystok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Cichewski should have stopped the shot. If Teofil Dzerwucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariusz Zajonc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Cichewski having to interfere. Tolek Cichewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Zajonc, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Kacper Tusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Zajonc came free, but Tolek Cichewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jagiellonia Bialystok's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartosz Wierzchowski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Viper's players had a chance to rest. Ziemowit Olejniczak hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tolek Cichewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Wierzchowski in the 81st minute of the match. Tolek Cichewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Zajonc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jagiellonia Bialystok booed when FC Viper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position.
