But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Dobilas couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Borys Dobilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Kolacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Irons Chorzów's Fryderyk Kolacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save The Irons Chorzów from getting a goal against them. Walery Rydzewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Hatman to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Napoleon Murdza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Robert Waselewicz from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Fryderyk Kolacki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 29th minute, Radomir Tyskie fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Walery Rydzewski kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Waclaw Pawelczyk put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Buldogi's Waclaw Pawelczyk got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the game, Buldogi's Rafal Jajesniak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fryderyk Kolacki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Gdowik to make the kick off. Buldogi's Radomir Tyskie got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tytus Hatman hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomir Tyskie in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fryderyk Kolacki saved The Irons Chorzów from getting behind. After 64 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Soliwoda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Rydzewski in the 73rd minute of play forced Buldogi's goalkeeper Zenon Kasiewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Buldogi getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Radomir Tyskie hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Rafal Jajesniak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fryderyk Kolacki. The Irons Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafal Jajesniak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Buldogi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Irons Chorzów for a fine match.
