The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Maksymilian Puzio fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Szczecin's protests and gave Maksymilian Puzio a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Pretoria Gostyń's Jaroslaw Rojewski tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pretoria Gostyń's Kacper Walec pulled a muscle in his leg after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Leon Wnukowski fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Szczecin's protests and gave Leon Wnukowski a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Wnukowski hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Aleksander Szpakowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Winnicki in the 8th minute. Tomasz Falkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Moryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Moryl in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Falkowski saved Pretoria Gostyń from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olgierd Moryl in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasz Falkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tanek Barciniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Falkowski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Moryl in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Falkowski saved Pretoria Gostyń from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Olgierd Moryl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasz Falkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tomasz Falkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Moryl in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pretoria Gostyń's zone, Olgierd Moryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Falkowski came out of the goal and Olgierd Moryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Pogoń Szczecin were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes, Olgierd Moryl made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Falkowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th match minute, Pretoria Gostyń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Piszczor to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Olgierd Moryl put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Tomasz Falkowski. Iwo Rydzewski hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Olgierd Moryl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Falkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Olgierd Moryl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomasz Falkowski was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Iwo Rydzewski's late challenge caught a Pogoń Szczecin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwo Rydzewski helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Olgierd Moryl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Moryl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Falkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Panikowski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Wojciech Komanski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Szpakowski came out of the goal and Wojciech Komanski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Olgierd Moryl notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Falkowski. Tomasz Falkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leon Wnukowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasz Falkowski having to make a save. Tomasz Falkowski was a little too slow when Olgierd Moryl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Prokowski during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Prokowski to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Moryl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomasz Falkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Olgierd Moryl slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 96th minute. The Pogoń Szczecin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
