Kurzawka's Bernard Sadlowski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes KS Ruch Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Dyczkowski. Jaroslaw Furtok took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zula Czerniak. Zula Czerniak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 19 played minutes Kurzawka got a freekick which was hit by Wit Liermann. In the 23rd match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Kornatowski to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Bernard Sadlowski from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Boleslaw Chlapowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Sadlowski got free with Boleslaw Chlapowski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Wincenty Naumowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurzawka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Wladyslaw Zdrojewski kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Kurzawka getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Boruc Majdoch hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Jaroslaw Furtok made a precise shot to the right of Zula Czerniak. Kurzawka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Zula Czerniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Kornatowski in the 45th minute of the match. The Kurzawka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Ruch Chorzów were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Kornatowski to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes KS Ruch Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Falk. The supporters of KS Ruch Chorzów booed when Kurzawka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Sadlowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zula Czerniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Kornatowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gilbert Kissel took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Zula Czerniak to make any attempt to save it. After 62 minutes, Karol Kornatowski made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Kurzawka's Zula Czerniak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes of play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Karol Kornatowski made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zula Czerniak was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Kurzawka getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Boruc Majdoch hit a great ball. Gilbert Kissel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Boleslaw Chlapowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Naumowicz in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes KS Ruch Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Gdaniec. Bernard Sadlowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boleslaw Chlapowski. KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zula Czerniak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karol Kornatowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 76 minute of play. Zula Czerniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Furtok, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Sadlowski in the 81st minute of play forced KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Boleslaw Chlapowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Karol Kornatowski put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Zula Czerniak. With a little luck, Kurzawka's Zula Czerniak got control of the ball when Karol Kornatowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boleslaw Chlapowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Sadlowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Kurzawka getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roland Fudalej hit a great ball. KS Ruch Chorzów's Jaroslaw Furtok shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zula Czerniak but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karol Kornatowski in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zula Czerniak saved Kurzawka from getting behind. KS Ruch Chorzów's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
