The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincent Majtyka got free with Bogumil Waselewicz in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Husaria Tarnów's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Juchno came free, but Wincent Zbydniowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Juchno in the 41st minute of play forced Husaria Tarnów's goalkeeper Wincent Zbydniowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Zbydniowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Marosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincent Majtyka to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wincent Zbydniowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Remigiusz Budzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husaria Tarnów's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigiusz Budzynski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogumil Waselewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Zbigniew Pryputnicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WZG Sandomierz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husaria Tarnów the free kick. A collision led to WZG Sandomierz getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
