Norbert Werra's late challenge caught a Pogoń1945Staszów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Pogoń1945Staszów getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Iwo Biskupiak hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobiasz Gall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zenon Fabiszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Gall, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Krzysztof Osikowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Kosiorek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugeniusz Wolnik kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Dżuwentus's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Kosiorek came free, but Krzysztof Osikowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pogoń1945Staszów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Ruzicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Pogoń1945Staszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Jaruzelski to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dżuwentus were victorious despite being under pressure from Pogoń1945Staszów for much of the match.
