The supporters of Dżuwentus booed when KS Górnik Wieliczka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Fleszar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cyprian Pysz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dżuwentus's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyprian Pysz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliusz Peczkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateusz Skorny made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Norbert Werra immediately put the ball in play. Aureliusz Peczkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Wysocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Aleksander Skrzypiec kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Eugeniusz Wolnik kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Klement Dzierwa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krzysztof Osikowicz having to make a save. When Klement Dzierwa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Krzysztof Osikowicz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to KS Górnik Wieliczka getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Aureliusz Fleszar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Wysocki in the 43rd minute of play forced KS Górnik Wieliczka's goalkeeper Aureliusz Peczkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klement Dzierwa to make the kick off. Damazy Wysocki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Aureliusz Peczkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 60 minutes, Klement Dzierwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Górnik Wieliczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klement Dzierwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damazy Wysocki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aureliusz Peczkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Damazy Wysocki slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 62nd minute. KS Górnik Wieliczka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Cyprian Pysz scored to the left of an out of position Aureliusz Peczkowski, making the score, 0-2. In the 70th minute, Klement Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Osikowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Dzierwa in the 72nd minute of play. Klement Dzierwa struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Krzysztof Osikowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Górnik Wieliczka. Krzysztof Osikowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Liermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute, Cyprian Pysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The KS Górnik Wieliczka manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dżuwentus to win.
