In the 3rd minute, Piotr Physant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Knut Grevad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Hoberg United booed when Lavindsgaarde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthasar Byrsø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Smedorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Oluf Elmerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balthasar Byrsø kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hoberg United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Tony Skovsdal scored to the left of an out of position Knut Grevad, making the score, 2-0. Knut Grevad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piotr Physant in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lavindsgaarde FC's Tony Skovsdal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Knut Grevad. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. Piotr Physant came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Knut Grevad could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Calle Vidø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoberg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavindsgaarde FC the free kick. The supporters of Lavindsgaarde FC booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Vidø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Grevad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gotfred Dragholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Piotr Physant kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Erhard Dalsmark hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Piotr Physant came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Knut Grevad could save by the left post. The supporters of Lavindsgaarde FC booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Vidø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Grevad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Skovsdal's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jokum Jering hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Jonatan Lagrolet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Hoberg United's Knut Grevad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gotfred Dragholm in the 54th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Adolf Gjølsø suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Sigfred Kellebjerg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoberg United's protests and gave Sigfred Kellebjerg a yellow card for diving instead. Lavindsgaarde FC's Frode Støer was substituted for Adolf Gjølsø. The supporters of Lavindsgaarde FC booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigfred Kellebjerg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Grevad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Physant in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Nicko Meiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Smedorf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Oluf Elmerdahl made a huge save. Balthasar Byrsø kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With his leg Oluf Elmerdahl managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Hoberg United's Peter Smedorf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Knut Grevad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Physant, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Gotfred Dragholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Knut Grevad. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gotfred Dragholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hoberg United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lavindsgaarde FC.
