After 3 minutes, Gunārs Melveris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BumboTava and the Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Rinalds Babulis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kostyantyn Ivanenko scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rinalds Babulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Oleshko in the 13th minute of play forced BumboTava's goalkeeper Rinalds Babulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matviy Okhrimenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Lode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in BumboTava's zone, Gennadiy Oleshko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rinalds Babulis came out of the goal and Gennadiy Oleshko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Lode recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfons Lode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matviy Okhrimenko having to interfere. When BumboTava's Alfons Lode in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus FC's Gennadiy Oleshko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rinalds Babulis. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 37th minute Maksis Gaiļpiesis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Okhrimenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matviy Okhrimenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Lode's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Rinalds Babulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kostyantyn Ivanenko went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Gennadiy Oleshko might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rinalds Babulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gennadiy Oleshko ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Matviy Okhrimenko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gatis Zalovs. Juventus FC made a substitution. Igor Fedorchenko replaced Lyubomyr Rud. 62 minutes into the match, BumboTava's goal looked a bit too open when Kostyantyn Ivanenko came free, but Rinalds Babulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gennadiy Oleshko took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rinalds Babulis. Rinalds Babulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Igor Fedorchenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Fedorchenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rinalds Babulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Oleshko in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Fedorchenko in the 72nd minute of play forced BumboTava's goalkeeper Rinalds Babulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Gennadiy Oleshko sped through BumboTava's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rinalds Babulis. In the 79th minute Gennadiy Oleshko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinalds Babulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to BumboTava getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gunārs Melveris hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in BumboTava's zone, Gennadiy Oleshko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rinalds Babulis came out of the goal and Gennadiy Oleshko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gennadiy Oleshko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Gennadiy Oleshko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gennadiy Oleshko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juventus FC fully deserved thier win.
