With a left leg Matviy Okhrimenko saved Juventus FC from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Oleshko came free, but Brandon Ellul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Ellul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tykhon Maxymyuk in the 25th minute. Brandon Ellul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Oleshko in the 26th minute of the match. Vsevolod Vakar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brandon Ellul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Frederick Gatt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gennadiy Oleshko struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Brandon Ellul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus FC. Sliema Dragons FC's Brandon Ellul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gennadiy Oleshko in the 52nd minute of play. Matviy Okhrimenko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Buttigieg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. After 64 minutes, Igor Fedorchenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus FC and the Sliema Dragons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matviy Okhrimenko was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Samuel Galdes. 72 minutes in the game, Frederick Gatt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Matviy Okhrimenko having to interfere. When Patrick Buttigieg fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sliema Dragons FC's protests and gave Patrick Buttigieg a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick Buttigieg hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gennadiy Oleshko during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Frederick Gatt took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Matviy Okhrimenko to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Frederick Gatt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sliema Dragons FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
