Stanislovas Milčius scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rinalds Babulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunārs Melveris during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gunārs Melveris kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Eižens Barakalns could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Naglis Gilaitis however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute Stanislovas Milčius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinalds Babulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eižens Barakalnss short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Naglis Gilaitis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. BumboTava's Gunārs Melveris got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Gunārs Melveris off the ground. In the 34th minute, Gunārs Melveris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, BumboTava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristaps Mārtiņš to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes BumboTava got a freekick which was hit by Arvīds Tikāns. Rinalds Babulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislovas Milčius's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes BumboTava got a freekick which was hit by Gatis Zalovs. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Arvydas Ačas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Zigmārs Ciekals's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naglis Gilaitis was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Almantas Genys charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Miervaldis Balčūns was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. Miervaldis Balčūns hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Saulius Vaineikis might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rinalds Babulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saulius Vaineikis ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, BumboTava's goal looked a bit too open when Linas Matukaitis came free, but Rinalds Babulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Ints Kvetkovskis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BumboTava and the FC Karamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BumboTava getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ints Kvetkovskis hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Arnoldas Makelevičius notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BumboTava's Rinalds Babulis. Rinalds Babulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ringolds Indriķis-Redzīgais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Osvaldas Samuolis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rinalds Babulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislovas Milčius in the 87th minute. Stanislovas Milčius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rinalds Babulis came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanislovas Milčius slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 92nd minute.
