An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Teuma in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Triesen's goalkeeper Felix Ott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 4 in the game by Andy Bjorg from a close distance when the talented Robert Zarb managed to make a qualified save. Floriana Celtics's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Teuma in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Ott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Roberto Teuma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Ott was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Roberto Teuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Ott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Teuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's Roberto Teuma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Ott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Ott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Teuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Andy Bjorg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Zarb was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when FC Triesen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Sozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Schleith during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, FC Triesen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Schleith to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Roberto Teuma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Triesen's Felix Ott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Sandro Schleith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Andy Bjorg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Zarb was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 39 minutes of play, FC Triesen's Andy Bjorg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Zarb was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Triesen's Rainer Sozzi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes, Floriana Celtics's Dylan Testaferrata shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felix Ott came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floriana Celtics reached it. In the 45th minute Sandro Schleith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Zarb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Teuma made a kick off. When Mats Ritter fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Triesen's protests and gave Mats Ritter a yellow card for diving instead. Roberto Teuma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Felix Ott when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute Andy Bjorg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Zarb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Sacco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Felix Ott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Schleith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Zarb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Bjorg in the 78th minute of play. Robert Zarb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Bjorg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dylan Testaferrata fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floriana Celtics's protests and gave Dylan Testaferrata a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Floriana Celtics's Dylan Testaferrata got a free kick in the 86th minute. Robert Sacco might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Ott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Sacco ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Zarb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Bjorg in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of FC Triesen booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Testaferrata didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Triesen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Floriana Celtics for a fine match.
