The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flamur Vreto during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FK LIQENORET's Flamur Vreto got a free kick in the 18th minute. Hajredin Kamberi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eris Aliu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FK LIQENORET's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Peter came free, but Hajredin Kamberi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ledi Selmani kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. FK LIQENORET's Hajredin Kamberi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FK LIQENORET from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Sandro Schleith quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Lorenzo Guerreiro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, FK LIQENORET was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eris Aliu to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Erigerti Divjaka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Ott was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Andy Bjorg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Hajredin Kamberi made a huge save. In the 87th minute Eris Aliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Triesen defense, Erigerti Divjaka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Ott. The FC Triesen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Ott should have stopped the shot. Felix Ott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eris Aliu in the 93rd minute of play.
