Karolis Badauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mantvydas Žalnerauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Svajūnas Rupšys. After recieving a nice pass, Absoliut's Sigitas Barasa tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Sigitas Barasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karolis Badauskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modestas Merkelis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Absoliut's zone, Gintautas Jameikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karolis Badauskas came out of the goal and Gintautas Jameikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juras Biknius kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Modestas Merkelis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Karolis Badauskas made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gintautas Jameikis sent off a good shot on target. Marijus Murauskis's late challenge caught a FC Pegasas Siauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marijus Murauskis helped the player get up and apologised. When Absoliut's Artūras Miežys in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Audrius Dūdėnas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
