Gigi Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Muharem Plasari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demirel Dinaku's late challenge caught a FC Alytus United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demirel Dinaku helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, A.K.Sh Albania's Demirel Dinaku got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A.K.Sh Albania's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Astijus Gudelis scored to the left of an out of position Gigi Buffon, making the score, 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Endrit Rusi made a kick off. Ąžuolas Bizauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gražvydas Andrikaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrit Rusi in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muharem Plasari got free with Gražvydas Andrikaitis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gražvydas Andrikaitis made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ermir Bardhyli sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 67 minutes, Astijus Gudelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alytus United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astijus Gudelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharem Plasari in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Gražvydas Andrikaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Astijus Gudelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gražvydas Andrikaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leka Kasmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Ermir Bardhyli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gražvydas Andrikaitis skillfully saved the ball. After 92 played minutes FC Alytus United got a freekick which was hit by Bronislovas Petrulis. Robert Bega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gražvydas Andrikaitis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, A.K.Sh Albania's Albert Ulqini got a free kick in the 98th minute. FC Alytus United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
