Spectators: 207 (Terracing: 156, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark Montebello took the kick off in the first half of the match. Liam Rolè could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Terry Kieffer made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Danny Edelmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benjamin Chevalier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Pizzuto having to interfere. In the 20th minute Mark Cuschieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Kieffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Cuschieri came free, but Terry Kieffer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan Pizzuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Schmitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Benjamin Chevalier might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dylan Pizzuto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Chevalier ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Chevalier in the 37th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan Pizzuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Chevalier in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlheinz Schmit to maneuver through the defense. Dylan Pizzuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Schmitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Cuschieri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Terry Kieffer came out and tried to block the shot, but Mark Cuschieri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Edelmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Edelmann in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dylan Pizzuto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Dennis Micallef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Edelmann got free with Dylan Pizzuto in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Danny Edelmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan Pizzuto was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes FC Lëtzebuerg got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Krier. Mark Cuschieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Sammy Schmitz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto. Dylan Pizzuto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Chevalier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan Pizzuto was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Terry Kieffer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Degiorgio in the 82nd minute of play. When Danny Edelmann fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lëtzebuerg's protests and gave Danny Edelmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes FC Lëtzebuerg got a freekick which was hit by Danny Edelmann. Charles Lerat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dylan Pizzuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Lëtzebuerg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
