After 7 minutes, Kevin Poonoly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holfenhein and the G.R. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kevin Poonoly hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Holfenhein's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reuven Speyer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 18 minutes G.R.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Muhammet Cakir who took care of the corner kick. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ulrich Haas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zahavi Drucker did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ulrich Haas 21 minutes into the match. If José Büchel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st match minute, Holfenhein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Hörmann to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Ben Yochay charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovanni Ben Yochay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Ben Yochay. 36 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Muhammet Cakir came free, but Rozen Lipsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efran Arnstein to maneuver through the defense. Rozen Lipsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Büchel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeriel Milikowsky hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeriel Milikowsky in the 44th minute of play forced Holfenhein's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, G.R.'s Rozen Lipsky got control of the ball when José Büchel tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Zahavi Drucker hit a great ball. G.R.'s Zahavi Drucker got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. G.R.'s Jeriel Milikowsky suffered a sore foot after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Casutt during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Holfenhein got a freekick which was hit by Dario Casutt. José Büchel scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rozen Lipsky, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Hörmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rozen Lipsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves José Büchel could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Rozen Lipsky however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Yavin Warner hit a great ball. Yavin Warner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efran Arnstein to maneuver through the defense. Holfenhein's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
