Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Cilia kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolin Sukaj came free, but Gregory Cachia Caruana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eagle FC's Ergys Durollari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Xriha in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Orsian Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eagle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Orsian Mano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Cachia Caruana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregory Cachia Caruana made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Nikolin Sukaj sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolin Sukaj in the 15th minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Gregory Cachia Caruana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Swatar United FC defense, Nikolin Sukaj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregory Cachia Caruana. The Swatar United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregory Cachia Caruana should have stopped the shot. Nikolin Sukaj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gregory Cachia Caruana made a huge save. A collision led to Eagle FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nikolin Sukaj hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Eagle FC's Emir Dede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 29 played minutes Eagle FC got a freekick which was hit by Emir Dede. Mike Bajada kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Nikolin Sukaj hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Gregory Cachia Caruana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolin Sukaj in the 38th minute of the match. Ergys Durollari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Xriha, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Steve Cilia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tonin Hasa made a kick off. Tonin Hasa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Cilia in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ergys Durollari saved Eagle FC from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Steve Cilia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kurt Xriha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Kurt Xriha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Tonin Hasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregory Cachia Caruana was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Xriha in the 72nd minute of play forced Eagle FC's goalkeeper Ergys Durollari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eagle FC's Orsian Mano got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregory Cachia Caruana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonin Hasa in the 78th minute of the match. Ergys Durollari made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Kurt Xriha sent off a good shot on target. Tonin Hasa took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregory Cachia Caruana. Gregory Cachia Caruana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 83 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tonin Hasa came free, but Gregory Cachia Caruana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's Steve Cilia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ergys Durollari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tonin Hasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eagle FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
