A collision led to Swatar United FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Stephen Vancell hit a great ball. Merūnas Urbelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gregory Cachia Caruana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Žydrūnas Tindžiulis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Gregory Cachia Caruana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nerijus Sadeckas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Cilia in the 18th minute of play. If Gediminas Tavoras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nerijus Sadeckas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Soler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI defense, Mark Soler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nerijus Sadeckas. The FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nerijus Sadeckas should have stopped the shot. With his leg Gregory Cachia Caruana managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Tauras Gasiūnas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Žydrūnas Tindžiulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregory Cachia Caruana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Žydrūnas Tindžiulis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Gregory Cachia Caruana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gregory Cachia Caruana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žydrūnas Tindžiulis in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Cilia. Mark Soler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dainius Dunauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Gregory Cachia Caruana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merūnas Urbelis in the 74th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Mark Soler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swatar United FC and the FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI booed when Swatar United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Soler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregory Cachia Caruana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Žydrūnas Tindžiulis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Stephen Vancell was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
