Yuriy Lavrynenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the game, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Ronny Sele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuriy Lavrynenko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Adam Pollakowski notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Kolos's Yuriy Lavrynenko. Yuriy Lavrynenko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 22 minutes, Ronny Sele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Sele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ booed when FC Kolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyrylo Zub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Sele in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Lavrynenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes FC Kolos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pio Erne who took care of the corner kick. Vitaliy Vyshnyak kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Pio Erne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuriy Lavrynenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ronny Sele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pio Erne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuriy Lavrynenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pollakowski in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Ronny Sele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuriy Lavrynenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Good showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Burjakiv in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronny Sele to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Ralf Wipp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yuriy Lavrynenko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ reached it. The audience was convinced that Ronny Sele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuriy Lavrynenko was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Pio Erne fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuriy Lavrynenko, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of FC Kolos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ:s goal. Ronny Sele in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yuriy Lavrynenko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Sebastian Casutt took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Yuriy Lavrynenko to make any attempt to save it. Ronny Sele who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Yuriy Lavrynenko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronny Sele struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Yuriy Lavrynenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ played a much better game than FC Kolos and deserved their victory. The FC Kolos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
