FC Kolos's Yuriy Lavrynenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Richter in the 9th minute of play. If Antoni Brändle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, FC Kolos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Rylskyi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Schurke F.C booed when FC Kolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vsevolod Starostyak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gerd Kathan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schurke F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerd Kathan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuriy Lavrynenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Danylo Semchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Kolos's Roman Rylskyi got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Gennadiy Burjakiv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Keller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Kolos's Gennadiy Voskoboynyk in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gennadiy Burjakiv in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Keller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vsevolod Starostyak's late challenge caught a Schurke F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vsevolod Starostyak helped the player get up and apologised. Vsevolod Starostyak kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Spalt came free, but Yuriy Lavrynenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Carlo Richter could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Yuriy Lavrynenko however easily saved by the left post. If Gennadiy Voskoboynyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Keller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Burjakiv in the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gennadiy Burjakiv to make the kick off. With his leg Marcus Keller managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when FC Kolos's Gennadiy Voskoboynyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlo Richter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Yuriy Lavrynenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuriy Lavrynenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Richter in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Schurke F.C's goalkeeper Marcus Keller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gennadiy Voskoboynyk. After a defensive mix-up in Schurke F.C's zone, Gennadiy Voskoboynyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Keller came out of the goal and Gennadiy Voskoboynyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konrad Wanger charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Wanger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Konrad Wanger kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Antoni Brändle took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuriy Lavrynenko. Yuriy Lavrynenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Antoni Brändle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Danylo Semchenko fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kolos's protests and gave Danylo Semchenko a yellow card for diving instead. Danylo Semchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Yuriy Lavrynenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Richter's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Gennadiy Burjakiv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Keller having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Richter in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuriy Lavrynenko saved FC Kolos from getting behind. Gerd Kathan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Lavrynenko having to interfere. Yuriy Lavrynenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Richter in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Gennadiy Voskoboynyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kolos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gennadiy Voskoboynyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Schurke F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
