Hector Uranga came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by BRUGGE FC's Felipe Jaramillo. But to his dismay, Felipe Jaramillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Ponce Perero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Uranga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Albar in the 10th minute of play. Paio Tumiraos charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paio Tumiraos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19 minutes into the game, Felipe Jaramillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hector Uranga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ponce Perero came free, but Gualterio Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, BRUGGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paio Tumiraos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicollao Ovies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Uranga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Jaramillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Felipe Jaramillo made a precise shot to the right of Hector Uranga. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 40th minute, Quirce Amador got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Uranga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacio Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nicollao Ovies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Trancoso having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Quirce Amador notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Leones FC's Hector Uranga. Hector Uranga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Jaramillo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Ponce Perero came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponce Perero couldn't finish the play. BRUGGE FC's Gualterio Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicollao Ovies in the 63rd minute of play. Hector Uranga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Cena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, BRUGGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regis Maujo to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes, Leones FC's Guillelmus Tendiero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualterio Trancoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leones FC reached it. Aquiles Cena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hector Uranga made a huge save. The BRUGGE FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
