Esquipula Unanue came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Viola Gigliati's Josue Pinazas. But to his dismay, Josue Pinazas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Esquipula Unanue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Cañaveral in the 11th minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Ciriaco Cañaveral from a close distance when the talented Esquipula Unanue managed to make a qualified save. Tapa Red F.C's players were relieved. Maxin Lombas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Josue Pinazas might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esquipula Unanue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josue Pinazas ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josue Pinazas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esquipula Unanue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerrold Suazo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Josue Pinazas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 33rd play minute Ciriaco Cañaveral came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Esquipula Unanue. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josue Pinazas in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josue Pinazas in the 37th minute of play forced Tapa Red F.C's goalkeeper Esquipula Unanue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Cañaveral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esquipula Unanue having to make a save. In the 40th match minute, Tapa Red F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celipe Osorio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tapa Red F.C's Jerrold Suazo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Josue Pinazas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters rose to their feet, but Josue Pinazas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esquipula Unanue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Cañaveral came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Esquipula Unanue could save by the left post. Santio Marco came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josue Pinazas was the one to do the kick off. Esquipula Unanue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josue Pinazas in the 51st minute of play. In the 76th minute Enrico Cicero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esquipula Unanue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Cañaveral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esquipula Unanue. Tapa Red F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Cañaveral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 90th minute Ciriaco Cañaveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esquipula Unanue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Cicero took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esquipula Unanue. Esquipula Unanue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. If Ciriaco Cañaveral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that AFC Viola Gigliati were the better team. AFC Viola Gigliati's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
