After a rather tough play, GreenUnited's Lain Bejarano got a free kick in the 4th minute. Sazon Faria's late challenge caught a GreenUnited's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sazon Faria helped the player get up and apologised. Sazon Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mundo Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txeru Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Gabon Teja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conjunto Paisa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. William Allonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mundo Paul having to interfere. Eli Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iratxo Bernabeytia in the 24th minute of play. Mundo Paul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Antoniano's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 35th minute, GreenUnited's William Allonca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 37 minutes, Hondo Cervantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conjunto Paisa and the GreenUnited players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Hondo Cervantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Gartzen Pons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mundo Paul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernando Torrealba was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Hernando Torrealba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conjunto Paisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernando Torrealba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txeru Montaña in the 57th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Mundo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quinten Galbarruri kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Lain Bejarano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mundo Paul showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gartzen Pons managed to get in a good position for a shot. GreenUnited's supporters rose to their feet, but Gartzen Pons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mundo Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Txeru Montaña came free, but Mundo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isaias Salce fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GreenUnited's protests and gave Isaias Salce a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Salce hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. GreenUnited made a substitution. GreenUnited's Eli Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iratxo Bernabeytia in the 75th minute of play. Eli Villalobos made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Hernando Torrealba sent off a good shot on target. Txeru Montaña took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mundo Paul. Mundo Paul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GreenUnited fans cheered their team off the field, for while Conjunto Paisa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
