The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ixona Ilarraza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txeru Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Shepherd Urria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Villalobos having to interfere. Ixona Ilarraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Allonca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ixona Ilarraza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txeru Montaña in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, William Allonca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Antoniano during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Antoniano to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, William Allonca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eli Villalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Mas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Ibiza's Ixona Ilarraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Antoniano in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Mas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Ixona Ilarraza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Antoniano. In the 61st minute, Florencio Antoniano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ixona Ilarraza. The goal made the score 3-1. With his leg Ixona Ilarraza managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when GreenUnited's Florencio Antoniano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Club Ibiza getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Shepherd Urria hit a great ball. The long shot by Elija Andres in the 70th minute really tested Ixona Ilarraza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanson Ojero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Txeru Montaña in the 73rd minute really tested Ixona Ilarraza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 79 minutes, Sanson Ojero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Ibiza and the GreenUnited players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Ibiza's Sanson Ojero got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gartzen Pons got free with Ixona Ilarraza in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Ixona Ilarraza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Allonca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Justo Mas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elija Andres to maneuver through the defense.
