The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zornin Joli during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM booed when Fire Breathers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zornin Joli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Cordarrell Zabala recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurendi Astiategui. Cordarrell Zabala showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's goalkeeper Laurendi Astiategui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bidun Ferreras. Laurendi Astiategui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordarrell Zabala's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Fire Breathers FC were awarded a corner. Dani Murgia went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fire Breathers FC's corner Dani Murgia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Laurendi Astiategui quite easily take care of the ball. Virgilio Moran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurendi Astiategui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Adrian Arceo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Caetano Estua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Estua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bidun Ferreras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cordarrell Zabala came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Fire Breathers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordarrell Zabala couldn't finish the play. Laurendi Astiategui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bidun Ferreras, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidun Ferreras in the 94th minute of play forced BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's goalkeeper Laurendi Astiategui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fire Breathers FC fully deserved thier win.
