An unexpectedly hard shot by Argoitz Rubalcava in the 5th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Pedro Torrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Donato Covillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frantxizko Serra hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, AFC United's Lalo Buenaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Villamañan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Roegelio Moyua kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, AFC United's Gilen Tejada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celestino Villamañan. Celestino Villamañan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 18th minute, Argoitz Rubalcava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan got control of the ball when Hector-Luis Conllas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cordero Sotomayor's late challenge caught a AFC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordero Sotomayor helped the player get up and apologised. Cordero Sotomayor kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Celestino Villamañan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalo Buenaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Villamañan made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Lalo Buenaga sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lalo Buenaga hit a great ball. When Gilen Tejada came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the AFC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilen Tejada couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Covillas in the 35th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diablos Rojos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Hector-Luis Conllas scored to the left of an out of position Celestino Villamañan, making the score, 4-0. Hector-Luis Conllas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lalo Buenaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector-Luis Conllas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Celestino Villamañan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lalo Buenaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Villamañan having to make a save. Lalo Buenaga scored 7-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Villamañan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celestino Villamañan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Covillas went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Honorato Zubillaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Villamañan having to interfere. Celestino Villamañan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lalo Buenaga's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Covillas in the 73rd minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Villamañan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Covillas in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Buenaga came free, but Celestino Villamañan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Lalo Buenaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Villamañan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector-Luis Conllas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Villamañan. Celestino Villamañan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The supporters of AFC United booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frantxizko Serra didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Frantxizko Serra hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Lalo Buenaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lalo Buenaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Villamañan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Donato Covillas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Celestino Villamañan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Pardelas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Frantxizko Serra got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC United had played much better football throughout.
